An 18-year-old with a lifelong love of dogs
My name is Alyssia and I started Tails & Trails because I believe dogs deserve more than a quick walk around the block. They deserve attention, adventure and someone who genuinely lights up when they see them.
I'm 18, I don't drive, and I don't want that to stop me. My walks are all local and on foot, which keeps things personal, safe and low-stress for every dog. I've previously worked for a doggy daycare, so I've handled all sorts of breeds, energy levels and personalities. I know what calm, happy care looks like.
Genuine love
I don't see this as a job — I see it as spending the day with friends who happen to have four legs.
Real experience
My time at a doggy daycare taught me how to read dogs, manage groups and handle the unexpected.

I keep routes close to home so every walk is safe, familiar and full of the best sniffing spots.

I have my own dog and I understand the worry of leaving them with someone new. That's why I treat every dog like my own — with patience, kindness and a whole lot of fuss.
